Traveling by bus or coach is usually the cheapest way to travel between cities. If you are not on a tight budget or would like to see more of the country side, travel by coach is the way to go. The comfort level varies significantly depending on the country you are in and the money you are willing to spend.
Keep in mind that in most developing countries, coach companies do not have a website. You will have to purchase your ticket from the bus terminal or from a travel company. On the other hand, coach companies in western countries encourages travelers to purchase their tickets online by sometimes offering a discount when purchase in advance.
